While the number of homes sold in November was only 29 down from 41 in October, the average home prices soared in November to $582,859, significantly higher than October’s average sale price of $511,961, and a 32% increase in the average sale price of homes compared to November 2016 (avg sale price $441,668). This is likely due to increased activity from buyers looking to upsize to larger homes before the next round of mortgage rule changes that will come in effect on January 1st, 2018. |
